The annex unit at new castle is advertised as the step down for the IDOC. For men who has served over two years in restricted housing segregation. There are some things that make the annex a step up from being in units. That don’t allow us to come out of our cells in groups.
Since my arrival inside this unit, i have on my own time tried to be a positive element in this environment. Although i am not around the comrades I have established political and Islamic relations with.
I have started my own class that allow men to openly discuss real life issues. We all meet up once a week and go over the home work on Wednesday. I have also served as the imam and teach prisoners looking for direction islam. Due to most of them being new
Muslems. Some of the prison staff don’t like me teaching white men how to be good Muslems.
Recently, a official requested that one of my Islamic pupils be moved to the top tier. Once he received a cellmate several days later he was attached and moved to segregation. We believe that it was orchestrated by the official to have a muslem beat up. The move was not requested by the muslem.
Richard Lima IDOC# 234256# was placed in harms way unjustly and this staff member has to be held accountable for his action that lead to this situation.
I am indianas voice of the voiceless. I am speaking for my little brother whos not in a position to speak for himself. How can we as political prisoners be effective in reaching those who look to us for help. When staff at new castle play these roles in keeping negative unprofessional behaviors occurring inside the annex unit. We need calls made to expose what they orchastrated to harm this muslem Richard lima.
Today my cell was destoyed again in the past 2 weeks by geo cert team.
Please call and demand to know what happened to Richard. Til next time. All power to the people.
