Abu Faheem Shabazz (Jerry Smith #129911) is an incarcerated IDOC Watch correspondent who has been in adult prison since age 14, after being railroaded and wrongfully convicted by corrupt Gary prosecutors and judges. In 2018 he was paroled, and in 2019 he was reincarcerated on technical parole violations. He has been in prison ever since and denied parole every year. He has a parole board hearing coming up on March 28, and he needs people to email acting IDOC Chief Legal Counsel Elise Gallagher [Anna Quick is on leave] to get her to review several retaliatory and false conduct reports that he has received so that these won’t be used to deny him parole. We have already mailed a list of the conduct reports in question to Counselor Quick along with the violations of IDOC Policy & Procedure involved in each, but we need public pressure to get her to review them and ensure they’re removed from his record and the time he lost for them is restored. Listen to Faheem’s testimony to hear more about the situation.
Please email acting IDOC Chief Counsel Elise Gallagher and ask her to review, dismiss, and expunge the false and retaliatory conduct reports that Jerry Smith #129911 has received at Westville CF, and to ensure the time he has lost due to the false reports is restored.
