The death of William Brown: Cruel medical neglect at Miami CF

IDOC Watch is opposed to the mistreatment of anyone in the Department of Correction’s custody, because whatever they can do to one of us, they can do to all of us. Prisons disappear and torture people, and medical neglect is one of the torture tools they use on the people in their cages!

Comrade i need 2 expose the gross medical neglect inflicted on this old man who died on my unit Sun. His name was William Brown #273326 and 4 the past 6 months he had been left 2 live inside of a cell (CHU-315) pissing and shitting on himself without any medical assistance at all. All medical did was supply him with adult diapers and that’s it. For months myself and several other prisoners had reached out 2 the admin 2 beg and plead 4 them 2 move the old man 2 the medical unit where he could of received the type of care sum1 in his condition should have been receiving but all our pleas were ignored.

Unit manager Williams simply kept putting off on medical but never once attempted 2 follow up on our constant complaints so the result was the old man died in the worst way a human being could of, ignored and neglected.

On the day of his death Sun May 3, 2020 his cellmate attempted 2 get him medical assistance for 20mins once he notice he wasn’t breathing, but the ofc n the control booth (ofc Pitcher) refuse 2 answer the emergency call button bcuz she was on the phone. So 20mins were wasted that might of saved his life.

All this can b easily fact checked but i dont believe the old man had any ppl 2 push the ball on ths so we mite have 2 step up and get the ball rolln. Also we r on lock down n i am on a hunger strike bcuz medical refuse 2 provide me adequate treatment 4 my allergies n foot conditions that i contacted them over a month bout n still hav yet 2 receive the insoles i need.
